Hildegard ELMA: Texts
-
Hildegard Elma und Holger Fitterer, Farbe-Strukturen-Raum, BKK Karlsruhe, April 2021
„...Hildegard Elma has lived in East Frisia in seclusion from the art business for over 30 years and worked on her visual project with great consistency and daily practice. The rare radiance of silence and inwardness in her paintings originated from this time and phrase of artistic practice. Nevertheless, the artist, originally from Freudenstadt, never severed her ties to the Black Forest, so her return is an understandable step and enriches art in the southwest with a remarkable position."

Pressrelease - Positions On Paper
"Sixteen artistic positions show how differently the medium of paper can be used. It is edited, serves as a background, is part of an installation and a carrier of color. Large-scale and small-format works by Andreas Bausch, Mahmut Celayir, Nikola Dimitrov, Hildegard Elma, Meike Entenmann, Paola Fonticoli, Dietrich Helms, Ildefons Hyöng, Magdalena Kita, Susanne Lyner, Rune Mields, Regine Schumann, Viktoria Strecker and Birgitta Weimer, Francis Zeischegg and Jeanette Zippel will be presented. ..."
-
Pressrelease - The Planet Is Blue
"The exhibition autumn at Galerie Judith Andreae is under the impression of the World Climate Conference, which will take place from November 6th to 17th 2017 in Bonn. Artists of the gallery, as well as guest artists, present works that show the beauty and at the same time the fragility of the earth. ..."

Pressrelease - Painting forward
"„Painting forward“ at Galerie Judith Andreae displays picturesque positions, which illuminate and affect current as well as everlasting topics in their very own language. Whether it may be an unusal choice of material or technique, current political reference or the reinterpretation of something already existing – the displayed works focus forward. ..."
